Energy and Computing in Building Design

13 – 24 January 2025

Do you want to contribute to the construction of more efficient and sustainable buildings? Lusófona University new training enables you to design buildings that reduce energy consumption and use renewable energy sources.

This course highlights the importance of developing design solutions for the surroundings of buildings (roof and facades) that are energy efficient, in relation to incident solar radiation and illuminance. The design solutions adopted aim to reduce energy consumption, as well as enable the production of renewable energy in buildings. So, the goal is to design energetically autonomous buildings, with a positive energy balance, reducing energy consumption from polluting resources and contributing to the mitigation of climate change.
